There are a million reasons why journaling is the best but for the sake of time I'll only list 4.
1. Writing for ourselves allows us to let off steam, unblock emotions, and know ourselves better.
2. It allows us to organize the chaos of our thoughts in a coherent way, thus giving the sensation of "meaning" to what is happening.
3. Journaling provides time to define specific objectives and create an action plan.
4. By writing we map out the pros and cons of a situation or relationship and can explain to ourselves what we have not understood before.
